I feel like total shit. I have been having some stress issues for a while, mostly migraines, but they are happening more often then ever, and there is no sign of relief anytime soon so I just need to just deal with it for another 3 months. Today I started to get another migraine, so I did my usual and took the “Excedrin migraine” and tried to chill out, but that for some reason this didn’t work at all and it got much worse, so bad for the second time in 2 years I actually vomited from a migraine. So from about 5 PM to 9:30 PM I was in pure hell, the room was spinning; I was boiling hot but cold at the same time and just wanted to die. I ended up lying on the office floor for about 2.5 hours until I was ready to sit in a chair again. So I sat in my chair and watched the rest of “Heat”… Man I love that movie, and the idea of Pacino and De Niro making another film together and this time BOTH will be on the screen at the same time makes me drool. Fun Fact of the day: I was watching “Star Trek” today, if you didn’t know they re did the special effects on the original series, using today’s technology to redo the space scenes and it is quite amazing, they do the exact same scenes, but just with CGI. Anyway, today the episode “The Omega Glory” was on, and it has never been a real favorite of mine since there was just too many questions not answered, so I decided to look it up on wiki and see what it had to say, maybe get some questions answered. I find this: “If watched carefully, the scene where Kirk is fighting Cloud William in the jail cell. Spock gives Sirah the nerve pinch, as she falls on the floor, her skirt lifts up. Just been stressing over life and the upcoming summer and the current news of deaths of people I have met isn’t helping. I go to the local news online where I grew up every so often, but rarely do I click on the obituaries, but for some reason I did today and I see a guy I went to school with was killed Monday in a car wreck, so I personally knew 2 people whose lives ended Monday and 3rd in the past 5 days. Matt was a cool guy, my age, very laid back, always wore blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a jean jacket, he and I had a lot of laughs together in class and a few times outside of school, we did hang in different crowds but I did like him, he was 4-5“ taller then me which was rare in HS and he was a white guy whose air was naturally curly, so when it grew out, it was totally a fro which in the late ‘80s wasn’t the “cool thing” but he didn’t care, he had a fro, which for a Indiana hick in the late 80’s was pretty daring. So I have been spending too much time thinking of the past this week, way too much time, and when you think of the past, odds are it will make you think of death, so I have had death on my mind WAY too much as well and I am pretty sure I have other things I need to focus on. I ran some test on a stupid side project I want to do, so I needed to test the power capabilities of a few items while they was plugged into a power outlet in the car, so last night I run these test, see what I wanted to see, unplugged it from the truck, turn off the truck and come inside. Today, Toni tries to go to work and finds a completely dead battery. Thankfully we have AAA and they came out to jump it for free, but the kid told me the battery was shot, so I now had to drop off a already hour late Toni to work and drive to Sears which is in the bad traffic part of town during lunch hour. Road rage was close to happing, since I got cut off twice once by a woman who was in a left turn lane when she decide she wanted to cut me off and get in front of me, but I was at a red light, so she forced herself into front of me but kept the back of her truck in the left turn lane and I got to sit there watching this fool sit on her ass blocking traffic and chat on a cell as at least 3 cars behind me was honking their horns for the full 2 minutes it took for my light to go green… 4 horns if you count mine. Turned out the battery test ok, but this is where it gets interesting, I know we had a Diehard battery, Toni knows we had a Diehard battery… the battery in the truck wasn’t a Diehard battery…. Hmmm…… so where in the last 7 years has this battery gone? Anyway, since we both thought we had a Diehard I spent the $109 to get a Diehard. Everything else looked ok, and hopefully when it is time to go pick Toni up, it will start… in fact, let me go test it. Yep, starts, at least something went right today.
CNN is reporting the Benoit strangled Nancy and then smothered his 7 year old son and then hung himself. Still no details on time line, but they said it looks like Nancy and her son have been dead since the weekend and Chris left and returned home where he hung himself Monday. Wow is all I can say. Toni and I met them at the two wrestling shows we worked. I met Chris at the first show when he was still with ECW, he and Chris Candido and Chris Jericho and I were alone for some time. I talked to Candido and Jericho the most, Benoit was very “shy/quite” but polite, and from what I was told he is like that with everyone, never has much to say, but when he does talk, you need to listen. I have heard he was known to be somewhat of a hard ass to the newer guys and wanted to make sure they treated veteran wrestlers with respect at all times, and watching the RAW tribute show that was mentioned a few times. Candido died 2 years ago, so out of that conversation, only Jericho and I are still alive. Kinda weird… The second show Benoit and Woman was not scheduled to be there but showed up. (Both shows were memorial shows for Brain Pillman who had died a few years prior) Woman (unless you know a talent on a personal level you call them by their stage name) was just starting to show her pregnancy, I had over heard “Roaddog” Jesse James congratulate them and I introduced myself to Chris and Woman and reminded Chris we spoke the year prior and my trainer Les Thatcher was walking by and gave both Chris and Woman the “he is ok” look in regards to me to let them know I wasn’t just some fan looking for a autograph. Woman was incredibly friendly, she and I spoke for 5-10 mins about nothing really, just chit chat, I then had to leave and congratulated both on her pregnancy and the look Chris had in his eyes was pure pride/bliss that he was going to be a father. Having seen that look in his eyes and how they looked at each other I am still stunned to no ends that it ended like this. I will not defend his actions, I think it’s the most terrible thing to do, whatever his “reason” was, it was 100% wrong. I have known a few people who killed another person either in a car wreck or outright murder, but I have never met a murderer and a soon to be victim before, so that is really “weird”. I will say, as a wrestler he was easy top 10 of all time, his only “flaw” was he wasn’t great on a mic which, unfortunately is a major thing in today’s wrestling, Hulk Hogan is living proof, not the best wrester, but man can he talk. Chris was just amazing worker to watch, the main event at Wrestlmania XX was his peak, he become the World Champion vs HHH vs Shawn Michaels and all three put on a hell of a show, it is still considered one of the all time greatest matches. That was the same night Benoit’s best friend Eddie Guerrero won his World title and both celebrated in the ring at the end, both have been thrown under the bus for so many years by various companies and they have been loyal friends to each other since they started at the same time and worked together for so long, it was just nice to see 2 wrestlers who spent years and years doing what they loved finally get the respect they worked so hard to get. And now both are dead. Just a sad fucking story all around.
Detective Bo Turner told television station WAGA that the case was being investigated as a murder-suicide, but said that could not be confirmed until the evidence was examined by a crime lab. WAGA reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and son over the weekend, and then himself sometime Monday.
I am stunned, still no details other then Chris Benoit and his wife Nancy better known as “Woman” and their son have been found dead. We were lucky enough to meet both Chris and Nancy on 2 separate occasions so this one hits close to home. I am stunned.

Dena Kline, 80, of Wilsonville, apparently drove her car down the boat ramp near the Abernathy Bridge and into the Willamette River. Boaters discovered the vehicle Saturday when they ran into it. If anyone has 1 or 2, or better yet 3 or 4 preteen/teen boys who want to help unload a truck and get $50 cash each, let me know. Odds are it will be unloading to a storage unit, so it should be quick and easy, I just need an extra pair of hands and the more the merrier. I’m looking at Aug 14/Aug 15 area. Nothing too big at all, and nothing to corrupt their young minds, just a lot of boxes and few odds and ends type things. Let me know so I can look elsewhere if I need to.
